Blake Edwards Dies at 88

Blake Edwards, the renowned director of the "Pink Panther" movies, "Breakfast at Tiffany's," "10," and countless other film comedies died Thursday morning. He was 88 years old. Edwards wrote or directed close to 50 films, and was given an honorary Academy Award in 2004 for his life's work. He was born in Tulsa, Okla., in 1922. According to Variety, Edwards' wife Julie Andrews and their two children were at Edwards' bedside when he passed.
