Gone

Portland celebrity reporter Byron Beck posted an article yesterday on Amanda Seyfried in the new Summit Entertainment and Lakeshore Entertainment film Gone, which starts filming in Portland later this month and into April.

According to The Hollywood Reporter,“the thriller revolves around a young woman named Jill (Seyfried) who returns home from her night shift to find her sister’s bed empty. She’s convinced the serial killer who kidnapped her two years before has come back to finish the job. But the police do not believe Jill, who knows time is running out. With no one to turn to, she sets off to find her sister and face her abductor once and for all. (Read the entire article…)”

 Seyfried (and possibly Justin Timberlake) working in Oregon is not the only fantastic news...also, two production companies that recently shot films in Oregon (Lakeshore -the company behind Untraceable and Feast of Love while Summit was behind Twilight) will both be returning.

We’re thrilled about  Gone as Merrick Talent actors have had a few First Calls and Audition call backs.

Merrick Talent continues to book in 2011 !!!   We're very proud of the focus from our working models and actors.  Congratulations to our wonderful Actor Aaron Austin who booked "Parklane" commercial. Aaron has been with Merrick for three years and is one of our most devoted actors.  Dedication is just one LARGE key to everyone's success.  New breakdowns are flowing in -Submissions sent and Audition requests fill our emails.  Annie Bardonski confirms she will audition for upcoming TV Pilot "Grimm".  Annie has been with Merrick for two years. We wish her the best audition on Thursday!

2011- NO WHINERS ALLOWED!

Awaken, Awaken to NEW THOUGHTS and IDEAS to start the year off right. YAY YAY YAY and although it is an exciting time of the year to begin a new... we still must deal with a few straggling items from last year. It won't take us long tho to conquer, complete and close the books on 2010. We move quickly - have no time for slackers!  HA!

So, I impart this to you... dear reader.  It is just a matter of time until time kicks us all in the behind. Make everyday your NEW YEAR start and take advantage of the 24 hour cycle of daily life. We are reminded how quickly the clock ticks away as we audition/book/sign/schedule/train/support/  our talent into another wonderfully successful year.
